As we live out our faith as believers and disciple makers we experience both ‘highs’ and ‘lows’ in life.  When these experiences occur in our lives, one can become distracted from their God given mission and become deeply discouraged and hopeless.  In these moments, when everyone seems to be experiencing joy, it can bing unique sadness and isolation.   As people experience these challenges in life, we must help them move from: Hopeless to Hope-Filled, Faithless to Fatih-Filled and Off-Mission to On-Mission.   Your New Community family is with you.  Because we believe God when He says that "weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes with the morning."  We are trusting God that you will experience joy this season. Please contact Pastor Michael Howard, Family and Care Pastor by calling (216) 397-3392, so we can provide additional resources and answer any questions you may have.

Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2

By this all men will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another.” – John 13:35

As a ministry, our mission is: “to reflect the love of Christ by offering counsel, compassion, and encouragement to those in our church family who are facing life’s challenges."

let's change the world through prayer

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

At New Community we pray for one another and we come together to pray, which is why prayer is our first response during this challenging time. Join with your New Community family as we come together for prayer. During this time, we have the opportunity to unite as one and come boldly before the throne of God and submit our prayers to Him.

Ways We Can Come Together to Pray

  • Pray for the Advancement of the Gospel (2 Peter 3:8-10; 1 Thessalonians 3:1)
  • Pray for Faithfulness to Christ and the Gospel During This Trial (James 1:2-3, 1 Peter 1:6-7)
  • Pray for the Mental Health of Individuals and Families (Isaiah 41:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:15-18)
  • Join our New Community Prayer Calls every Friday, from noon-1pm | Dial-in number: (667) 776-9006
