    Youth Pastor

    Our vision is to empower our youth to know God. We want our youth to have the desire to be like Jesus. We want them equipped to grow in God’s word, fellowship together, loving one another, serving others, and praying together. This vision flows from our church Statement of Dedication.

    Youth Pastor Qualifications & Expectations:

    • Must have a submitted, servant and supportive attitude in your overall approach to ministry and your job (Ephesians 6:5-7; Colossians 3:23, 24) 
    • Must be a born again believer and be willing to have an active family membership in good standing at New Community Bible Fellowship  
    • A self-motivated leader, capable of casting and imparting vision for ministry, possessing relational skills with youth, parents, staff, and volunteers
    • Must have the ability to research the community, utilizing demographics, technology and social media to reach the un-churched youth of our community

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

    • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in ministry with some experience in youth ministry
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) 
    • Able to manage ministry responsibilities from a strong biblical foundation and conviction; Administrative abilities are key; Able to establish and maintain appropriate standards for the accomplishment of ministry in a way that honors both God and people
    • Professional and mature interpersonal skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate persuasively and compassionately both orally and in writing

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide counseling and spiritual direction to youth on an individual basis  
    • Prepare, monitor and control the annual youth budget as approved by the Executive Director of Finance and Operations
    • Other duties as required and requested by the Executive Pastor
    • Must live a personal and private life exemplary of a mature Christian (1 Timothy 4:12)



    Administrative Assistant

    The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director of Finance & Operations (EDFO) for the primary ministries of the church facility and finance departments.


    Duties & Administration Duties


    • Answers incoming calls and provides exceptional customer service to callers
    • Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc. 
    • Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication. 
    • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies. 
    • Serve as team lead for phone ministry volunteers, including recruiting, training and managing volunteers
    • Take the lead in maintaining and training staff and volunteers on our phone system, copiers, postage machine, and other office equipment    
    • Communicate daily with staff for meeting updates
    • Data entry and reconciliation for offerings and special gifts
    • As directed by the Executive Administration team, contact ministry leaders, event volunteers and officers to obtain and track RSVPs and communicate results  
    • Assist with mass mailings; Stuff Special Event Packets (as needed) 
    • Take lead on mailing Contribution Stations and other Financial Correspondences
    • Provide Administrative Support for Donor Engagement Support
    • Provide Administrative Support for Town Hall Meetings and Capital Campaigns
    • Serve as Administrative Support for Membership Care (Ex. Creating condolence letters, emailing bereavement/prayer request correspondence, ordering flowers, etc.) 
    • Prepares correspondence and reports, with some direction, for EDFO Signature
    • Maintain comprehensive and accurate accounting records for EDFO  
    • Additional reasonable duties as assigned, but not listed above


    Skills and qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
    • Associate’s degree (or higher) in business administration, management or related field preferred
    • 3+ years of administrative assistant experience  
    • Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office
    • Experience using office machinery (fax, printer, copier, phone systems etc.) 
    • Outstanding communicator both verbally and written Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Great customer service and interpersonal skills Friendly, service-oriented personality
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Problem-solving and basic troubleshooting skills
