MAY IS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH

Did you know that 1 in 5 Americans struggle with mental illness and millions more are impacted by their struggle?

20% of young adults suffer with anxiety and depression and suicide is the second leading cause of death for those 15-24 years old.

New Community Bible Fellowship is helping to erase the stigma around mental illness by providing resources from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to help those in need. If you struggle with mental illness or know someone that does, please visit https://namigreatercleveland.org/ for more information and helpful resources or call the Cleveland NAMI helpline at 216-875-7776.

WE CAN DO THIS BECAUSE WE ARE STRONGER–TOGETHER!

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Now more than ever before, it is important for the mental health community to come together and show the world that no one should ever feel alone.   While 1 in 5 people will experience a mental illness during their lifetime, everyone faces challenges in life that can impact their mental health.  Refer to these Emotional Support resources as you cope with stress during COVID-19.
