Two of Tanya’s passions are her family and seeing people’s lives changed through the power of Jesus Christ! Along side her husband, Tanya founded New Community Bible Fellowship in 1994 and has helped to oversee its growth to over 3000 members. She currently serves at Executive Director of Strategic Planning, and Director of Women’s Ministries.

During her 29-year tenure at New Community, Tanya has served as Director of Communications and Special Events, Speaker, Bible teacher, and Small group Leader/ Coach. She has served Christ in India, Africa, and Ukraine as well as other parts of the United States.

A graduate of Clark Atlanta University, Tanya holds a Bachelors degree in Communications and sees God’s wisdom placing her in various roles gaining experience in Public Relations, Radio Broadcasting, Television Production, Graphic Design and Publishing before entering full time ministry. In 2012, she received the YWCA Woman of Professional Excellence Award. In 2016 New Community was honored in Outreach magazine as one of the fastest growing churches in America.

A native of Cleveland Ohio, Tanya has been married to Kevin for 36 years. They have 3 adult children: Christopher, Taylor and Lauren and 2 granddaughters, Briana and Reagan. Tanya is an artist who loves painting, writing and designing high impact events.
