New Community hosted an Urban Apologetics Forum with Dr. Eric Mason, pastor of Epiphany Fellowship Church in Philadelphia, PA and author of ‘Woke Church’ and ‘Urban Apologetics: Restoring Black Dignity with the Gospel.'

DR. ERIC MASON

Dr. Eric Mason is the founder and lead pastor of Epiphany Fellowship in Philadelphia, PA. He and his wife, Yvette, have three sons, Immanuel, Nehemiah, and Ephraim, as well as one living daughter, Amalyah. After more than two decades of gospel ministry, Dr. Mason has become known for his unquenchable passion to see the glory of Jesus Christ robustly and relevantly engaged in broken cities with the comprehensive gospel. Urban ministry is the heartbeat of his ministry and calling.


He is the author of four books: Manhood RestoredBeat God to the PunchUnleashed, and Woke Church.  Dr. Mason considers himself a foodie and coffee snob, and he also enjoys reading, writing, art, and biking.

Pastor Kevin James is founding and Senior Pastor of New Community Bible Fellowship. 

 

Kevin has been involved in ministering the gospel and developing disciples for Christ for over twenty years in the United States, Ghana, India and the Ukraine. His preparation for ministry includes a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School located in the Chicago area.

 

Kevin is joyfully married to his bride of 28 years- Tanya. They are blessed with three children: Christopher, Taylor and Lauren.
