Doing Life Together

Life is not meant to be lived alone. In fact, God desire is for us to be in healthy relationship with one another. He said two are better than one because if you fall someone is there to help you up. You were created to experience life with other people, and that’s why at New Community, we encourage you to get into a small group.

A small group is a group of three or more people who gather each week in a home or at church. In a group you’ll hang out, study the Word, and pray together. Groups come in all shapes and sizes — married couples, singles, men, women, 20 something’s, over 40 — the list goes on. Explore further and find a group that fits you.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we live by faith in a God who is greater than any virus, but we also seek to be wise in our living and compassionate toward all who suffer.  To this end, we are taking every precaution to best address the impact of the Coronavirus on our community.

We have decided that all New Community Life Groups/ABF’s will meet remotely only until further notice.  This means that there will be no life groups, teen tribes or childcare held on campus during the week until further notice.

“Older women, teach the younger women to love their husbands and their children, to live wisely and be pure…”

Titus 2:4

We have been created to live in community and not in isolation. Physically, we do live in a community, but spiritually, socially, and relationally we often live our lives in isolation.

“As iron sharpens iron so one man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”

We are radically dedicated to strengthening men in God's truth, teaching them how to live biblical and courageous lives.

A strand of three cords is not easily broken.

- Ecclesiastes 4:12

When God is the third cord, every marriage can succeed!

“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good deeds. And let us not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but encourage one another.”
