Understanding Marriage: Taking your Marriage from ‘Real’ to ‘Ideal’ | Wednesdays at 7PM | 3529 Washington Blvd. Living Room
Resource: Boundaries in Marriage by Dr. Henry Townsend
Today’s marriages are a sort of a mixed bag and there is a bigger gap between what a person may consider what is Ideal versus what is Real. The choices that we have made in the past do and can affect our marriages today and couples need a divine plan to help our ideal hopes for our marriages to become real. Only when you and your mate know and respect each other's needs, choices, and freedom can you give yourselves freely and lovingly to one another. This class will help you understand the friction points or serious hurts and betrayals in your marriage -- and move beyond them to the mutual care, respect, affirmation, and intimacy you both long for. So whether you are a blended family or experienced a divorce we believe in this class that God can take our real marriages and make them ideal.

You will learn in this class how to build a better marriage based not on sexist stereotypes, but on biblical principles based upon a firm foundation of Scripture, forgiveness, and a healthy understanding of who we are in Christ.
